Body & Mind Games

Posted by Wagathee

Well it's been eons since I updated this blog for many oblivious reasons but that's a story for another day ...

I just checked in to the plantation and all my body wants is to get laid and spend the day tucked in without a worry however no gonna happen so I got to find something refreshing to engage my not so ideal mind.

Championship League

Posted by Wagathee

Didier Drogba decided to pull a poor man's Zidane - or if you prefer, an A-Rod Special - in the Champions League Final that I think cost Chelsea the title. I'm not sure what the hell he was thinking as he slapped Nemanja Vidic in the face right before the game was about to go to the penalty shootout, but it wasn't smart.
Just so you understand, Drogba getting ejected when he did would be the equivalent of Tom Brady getting ejected during the final two minute drive of a tie game at the Super Bowl. Times 10
Hence his granted a persona non grata in London.

Now How!!!

Dear Father grant me the serenity to accept the things I can't change and the knowledge to change the things I can change and the wisdom to tell the difference. Amen

I thank you Father that You have called me to be head not the tail. I am above and not beneath. You said I will be able to lend money and not borrow. You said whatever I put my hands to shall prosper. So Father I thank You that I'm blessed and cursed.

AMEN

Juma

Posted by Wagathee

We are judged by the company we keep, right? Juma, not his real name is a bizarre character for lack of a better word. Juma's story is sad and fascinating in equal measures. For the most part I believe Juma is a good kid albeit he got his priorities skewed, why you ask! I've know Juma for about two centuries and counting, growing up Juma's mom like most parents saw a potential CFO who would be handed the burton from his Dad. Juma was an average student unlike his siblings he never got any suspensions or expulsions in his high school years which was a nice stroke to his ego.
Fast forward to two years ago, right after high school he went back to his old buddies, shooting pool, indulging in the Ruaraka waters become his new lifestyle amidst many other escapades. This was a light bulb moment for his parents hence his behind want "sent" to colle. It's believed Juma attended class for about three months nonetheless for a period of about fourteen months he was still collecting tuition, lunch and fare. With nothing to show for two years spent in college this called for a pep talk from his parents and all parties involves came to a coda that he was SOL.
I believe his Mom had a soft spot for Juma since she gave him the benefit of doubt and his behind once more was "sent" to a four year college. Lo and behold Juma became a remnant of the absent students and a classic case of wasted talent.

Moral of the story: You can take a donkey to the river but you can't force the donkey to drink the water.

April Foos Day

Posted by Wagathee

Well this goes to tell us how fast time is moving. I can't believe just the other day was December and now the first quarter of the year is behind us. I prank emailed, is there something like that, anyway back to where I was...I told this foo that wifey was preggar and she got all excited until I broke the news and I was at the receiving end of the obscenities.
The Idea of bouncing out of the plantation half day is making me boil with excitement....Peace out, chucking the deuces :)

Been kinda long week pulling twelve hour shifts more like a Hebrew slave...well amidst all this was able to squeeze some time for the Jay z & Mary J. Blidge concert which in my opinion was well worth the price of the tickets, Shawn Corey was the icing on the cake and for that I gave him 5 mic.

With my shoestring budget looks like tonight will be a movie night in tow by some gin & tonic with a significantly high contingency of alighting the BT.
P/S We are still under construction we run out of supplies till next week.

Good weekend and tip your bartender.
